The Genos Difference
Carmine's observations on competition and EI:
There are hundreds of so-called 'EI' programs available today. A quick search for emotional intelligence on Google produces over 2.7 million pages of results. Of all the EI programs that are out there, I consider about a dozen of those to be quite reputable, based in solid science, and able to produce quite good results when applied in the workplace.
The most widely known among those, of course, would be Goleman's ECi, the MSCEIT from Mayer, Salovey, and Caruso and perhaps a couple others. From my point of view, there is not a single EI program available today that I would consider as a real competitor to the Genos model, not even Daniel Goleman, for whom I have the greatest respect and admiration for such brilliant and ground-breaking efforts. I actually see these others as allies in this great work, and while our EI objectives are similar, we take very different paths to achieve those ends.
From my perspective, and I think most, if not all, of my clients would agree, the Genos EI model and process is so new, so unique, and so advanced, we really have no competition. I've written extensively in other places on this site about why that is, so there's no sense repeating myself here. Read through the "Why Genos" page, and the "Full Program" page, and also the "EI and ROI" page, and those should give you a better sense of why I believe as I do. Better yet, call me up and let's run a small pilot program for your organization. See for yourself.
